“I’ll also be doing some of the numbers from some of the musicals that I have done. There will be a support act as well and I’ll be doing some of the first half and then the whole of the second half.
“It is kind of a greatest hits package. It was someone in the office who said do you want to go out on tour again.
“It is a nice tour, I have Monday to Wednesday off. I said to people I don’t mind it going on a little bit longer but it was important for me to have a break.”

Brian added: “It has been going really well so far. The show has had a standing ovation every night and you can’t get much better than that.
“I am an entertainer and if you can make people laugh, it is a wonderful feeling. There is a real buzz especially when you consider that all of those people have paid and to then give you a standing ovation.
“Come along, you won’t be disappointed.
“I do love the live stuff, it is much more exciting. Although I have just done a new show called The TV That Made Me. It’s a little bit like Dessert Islands Discs but with television. It’s a job that I really like and is on the screen in March. I’m hoping there will be a second series.

And there have been plenty of highlights during his career.
“I loved playing Al Jolson in the show, that was a highlight. I loved appearing in Barnum recently and Fagin in Oliver! Both of them were for Cameron McIntosh, one of the best producers in the country and was a pleasure to work for him.
“One of the best things about Barnum was having to walk the tightrope which took a long time to learn. There were one or two times where I fell off doing it and when I got back on, it always got a much bigger round of applause than if I got it right the first time round.
“There was a part of me tempted to deliberately fall off and get the bigger applause but it puts a lot of pressure on to get it right.
The show starts at 7.30pm and tickets cost £23.
