Start the jazz week off with the John Dunmore Boogie Band, playing at The Cardigan Arms in Moulton tonight. The gig runs from 9pm to 11pm and admission is free.
The John Dunmore Boogie Band will also be playing on Sunday at Fords Sport and Social Club at the Royal Oak industrial estate in Daventry from 3pm to 6pm. There is a large car park and entry is £3 on the door. Also on Sunday is Roade Jazz Club at the ex-serviceman's club from noon until 2.30pm. This weekend Phil Mason's New Orleans All Stars and Christine Tyrrell will be performing and admission is £7.
As usual on Wednesday there is J For Jazz at the Black Horse in Foxton, starting at 8.30pm and entry is free.The same night is the Kingsthorpe Jazz Club at The Headland in Longland Road, Northampton, from 8.30pm. This week The Beer Parlour Jivers will be performing their western swing-style music. Admission is free and there is a raffle.
Then on Thursday All That Jazz will be having a Christmas party night at The Stirrup Cup in Barton Seagrave. Music from regulars Buzz, Yvonne, Paul, Nye and Graham will begin at 9pm and admission is free.The Mardi Gras Jazz Club will also be holding a festive party on the same night at Casey's Club in Market Square, Daventry. Entry is £8 and doors open at 7.30pm.
