Carols and Christmas tunes will be performed by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and the choirs of All Saints' Church at the Derngate theatre on Thursday, December 4.
The concert features many popular pieces of Christmas music, alongside works by John Rutter, well known for his arrangements of traditional carols but also one of the most prolific composers of modern carols, including the Shepherd's Pipe Carol.

The evening opens with a special overture comprising well-loved Christmas tunes, written by British composer Nigel Hess, and the programme includes such choral and orchestral favourites as Sleigh Ride, Winter Wonderland, Tritsch Tratsch Polka and Let it Snow!

Under the baton of conductor Paul Bateman, the RPO is joined by the popular singer Mary Carewe as soloist.

The show starts at 7.30pm and tickets cost from £13 to £30, with children's tickets from £5.

To book, call 01604 624811 or visit www.royalandderngate.co.uk.
