Former Northampton Town player Walter Tull was the British Army's first black officer, and to commemorate the 90th anniversary of the 1918 Armistice, BBC 4 will screen Walter's War at 9pm on Sunday.
Writer Kwame Kwei-Armah has concentrated on making this drama a focus on Tull's personal struggle and achievements.
