Jane Rockingham contacted me to complain about the actions of two stewards towards her two grown-up sons, who chose to stand on the back row at the east side.
She alleges that stewards accepted their standing because they pointed out they were obscuring no-one, however there followed a later development when one of them was ejected, with, it is alleged, force that was not appropriate by two stewards when he went to the loo.
When the second son went to see why the first had disappeared, the same fate befell him.
She says they were never abusive to the stewards, or behaved inappropriately, or caused any danger.
Her family have supported the Cobblers for years, she's written to the chairman and will let me know the reply.
My observation is that in the same game, many Oldham fans stood without being ejected.
I know from message-board comments that some people saw this incident, but I'd like any views on our stewarding for publication to be sent to

Getting back in touch with play-offsWe meet Colchester here on Saturday under more favourable circumstances than would have pertained under the original snowed-off fixture.
They've had their own injury problems and have taken 13 points from the last 10 games, however they beat Yeovil 1-0 in midweek thanks to new loan signing Jermaine Easter, and we don't want him rebuilding his scoring career at our expense.
If we get the three points, we'll be back in touch with the play-off zone.
