There's lots of babble about 'Gold' games with higher prices, but I can't get worked up about it, it's supply and demand.
If the club prices games above the level you want to pay, stay away; many clearly have, the empty seats prove it.

The club must then balance that negative publicity and the effect on customer relations with the total income at the gate, and they can't then be surprised if the spin-off is a little more money but a lot more disgruntled supporters.

Hereford on Saturday wasn't as good as many made out. We had no strike power whatsoever and relied on a terrific free-kick from Jackman for the first goal, and a defensive mistake to let in Ryan Gilligan for the second.

If Gray can glean goals from midfielders in the absence of a proper pair of strikers, it'll be enough to keep us afloat.

The home side were allowed too much possession for my liking and we played too deep, but Hereford had no flair where it mattered, and it was three points we needed most.

Edgar Street is one of those old-fashioned grounds that keeps an amateur family atmosphere, you are close to the players and most of the facilities are the sort of thing your Grandpa would knock-together in his spare time.

In our seated part of the ground, Cobblers supporters with short legs found they couldn't touch the floor when they sat down, Grandpa obviously got his measurements wrong!
