Versatile Wilson an ‘unbelievable’ asset for Saints
Wilson turned in a man of the match performance last Saturday as Mallinder’s men systematically dismantled Treviso 67-0 at Franklin’s Gardens.
The Kiwi utility back played in three different positions during the Champions Cup clash, helping to set up several of the 11 tries.

“To have somebody as versatile as him is unbelievable,” said the Saints director of rugby.
“He played in three positions on Saturday, starting at full-back, moving to wing for George North and then fly-half for Stephen Myler.
“He looked very, very comfortable and enjoyed the game.
“You never really want to pick out players because he did play well but there were other magnificent performances as well.
“The whole 23 did brilliantly and we didn’t get carried away and start playing seven-a-side rugby. We put in a good professional performance.”
