Star man Myler praises Saints’ powers of recovery
Myler was once again ice cool under pressure as he landed a penalty with little more than a minute to go at the Recreation Ground.
It levelled the scores after Bath had gone ahead through George Ford, who scored all of his team’s points in the 19-19 draw.

And last-gasp hero Myler said: “There was a minute and eight left on the clock when we got the penalty so the game’s going to restart.
“With them losing a guy (Anthony Perenise) to the bin, we could have gone to the corner and tried to drive them over, but we had to respect Bath and two points is a good result for us.
“It’s given us more points in the league table and Bath have not got any closer to us.

And Myler felt Saints were fully deserving of the two points they earned.
He added: “We thought we could have got a little bit more out of the first half, but it’s not easy taking on a team as good as Bath on their home patch.
“We were confident we could establish more territory and pressure in the second half, but it wasn’t meant to be and we let them in with a few silly errors and defensive lapses.
“We responded really well and we were worthy of a draw.”
