On-loan duo Ron-Robert Zieler and Kurt Robinson made their first appearances in a Northampton Town shirt while Abdul Osman and Colin Larkin both made their comebacks from injury as Northampton Town's reserves suffered a 1-0 defeat at local rivals Peterborough United in the totesport.com Combination on Wednesday afternoon.
"Abdul and Colin both got through 90 minutes without any problem," said reserve team boss Ian Sampson.

"Ron-Robert and Kurt also got through the whole game and it gave them a chance to get to know a few of the lads. Both of them did well, and they will have benefited from the game.

"It was a game of a few chances. We improved in the second half and had a lot of possession but we didn't create too much and we got done on a set play, which was disappointing."
