Northampton Saints boss Jim Mallinder has called on his side to put in the complete performance to cure their travel sickness at Gloucester today.
In all four Premiership games on the road this season Saints have led at half-time only to fade in the second half and lose.

At Bristol Saints were leading right up until the 70th minute when a Luke Eves try robbed them of victory.

They did at least win their first bonus point on the road at the Memorial Stadium, but Mallinder is hoping last week's draw against Premiership leaders Bath will inspire his players to go that little bit extra and register their first league away win at the Kingsholm bear pit today.

Mallinder said: "We have spoken about playing for 80 minutes. You need to play for 80 minutes against good sides.

"Away from home we've played in patches, most of the time it has been good in the first half and then we have not played quite so well in the second. But at Bristol we played quite well in the second half, we were just weak in a few areas.

"We know if we prepare well, we are positive, play the type of rugby we can play and then defend really accurately, because Gloucester are a very good team, we will be very competitive."

Against Bath Saints were just nine minutes away from victory until a late converted try levelled things, with Tom Smith and James Downey held up over the line according to referee David Rose.

"It is disappointing that we didn't get the four or five points," said Mallinder. "It is frustrating, but we have got to stay positive and keep focusing on our performance and we know we can compete with the best.

"We have said that not just on Saturday, but home and away throughout the season. We just need to do it for 80 minutes.

"It is that mental attitude, but also that tactical ability to make the right decisions at the right time. I think that is what happened in defence, we were a little bit lapse and that let us down. We have worked hard on that in training this week."
