Here speaks an arrogant member of the Rich Boys' Club.
It is well known that Bristol Rugby is very short of money and cannot afford the lineup of big-name stars that the likes of Northampton can parade every match
.
Just getting together a matchday squad capable of competing in Guiness Premiership fixtures alone is a difficult undertaking for Richard Hill, so to put out that same squad for other tournaments would be madness: a guaranteed way to get relegated.
If Bristol do manage to stay in the Premiership this year with such scant resources, it will be a mighty achievement however it is managed and worthy of praise from true followers of the sport.
For those who want to pull the ladder up on clubs without sugar daddy finances I imagine it will never gain even grudging acknowlegement.

Well Jim, not a very good day at the office!
Too many mistakes, too many penalties and too much kicking the ball away! In certain areas the Saints defence seemed woeful and that was with Gloucester having 6 players out on International duty. I can not believe or comprehend how the Saints could get such a pasting after such a fantastic performance last week.
We have played Gloucester many times and I accept that it is a hard place to win but we didn't seem to give it 100% this week. The weak links in the defence must be addressed as we simply cannot allow this to continue.
As always, Keep the Faith.

'No more Mr Nice guy' was definitely out there this week, a fantastic effort was displayed by all the lads. Now they may be able to see what they can do when they believe in themselves.
The Saints should have beaten Bath but the referee did not allow what appeared to be a perfectly good try and he seemed to let Bath get away with a lot of infringements.
I hope the Saints are going to keep up with the 'never say die' attitude and take it away to Gloucester next week.
Well done to Bruce and Nacho for thier great leadership this week, you made us all proud. Especially against the league leaders!
Keep the Faith.

What happened to 'No more Mr Nice Guy?'
After listening to the Saints vs Bristol game on Sunday I was left feeling a little bit concerned. I am not normally one to moan but when are we going to learn to finish a team off and not let them back into the game! How many times have we made that same mistake?
We must also realise that we will never win games trying to play as individuals. Team work, patience and belief wins games.
We do have players missing and injured but we are supposed to have 'Strength in depth' now but at the moment I just don't see that, especially up front. I also feel that we will struggle against the bigger teams over the next few weeks and winning away from home just doesn't seem to be happening.
Players like Bruce and Nacho Lobbe must start to crack the whip a bit more and tell the rest what is expected of them, they are however the captains and should be leading from the front.
Please prove me wrong boys and let's start playing as a team and having some more belief and faith wherever you are playing, not just at home.
Keep the Faith always
