Police find body in search for missing Northampton teenager
A body, believed to be that of a missing Northampton teenager, has been found by police.
Northamptonshire Police conducted an extensive search yesterday evening (May 11) after receiving a call that a 15-year-old boy was missing from home.

Hide AdSearch teams were seen near the Old Red Lion pub in Kislingbury and a police helicopter was spotted hovering over the town from around 11.45pm last night.
The search resulted in police finding the body of a young man in Kislingbury, believed to be that of missing Alfie McCreadie.
The force has confirmed that the death is not being treated as suspicious.
A spokeswoman for Northamptonshire Police said: “Yesterday evening (Monday, May 11), police were called regarding a 15-year-old boy who was missing from his home.

Hide Ad“Sadly, after an extensive search, the body of a young man was found. Formal identification is yet to take place but it is believed to be that of Alfie McCreadie.
“We are not treating the death as suspicious and a report is being prepared for the coroner.
“We would kindly ask the media not to approach Alfie’s family who would like to grieve in private at this very distressing time.”
