Mirror, signal, manoeuvre .. INSURANCE? Driving lesson in Northampton turns into epic fail

One woman's road to getting on the road hit an almighty speed bump as she was reported for having no insurance on a late-night driving lesson.
Officers from Northamptonshire Police Road Crime team spotted the black Vauxhall Corsa in Weedon Road, Northampton, at around 11pm last night (Wednesday).

Hide AdThey tipped out and discovered the 25-year-old was being taught the rules of the road.
A spokesman for the Road Crime team said: "If you're going to take a driving lesson at 11pm at night, make sure you are insured to do so!
"The driver of this car in did not bother so they have been reported for the offence and the vehicle has been seized."
Anyone caught driving without insurance is usually offered £300.00 Fixed Penalty Notice and six points on their licence — although punishments can be much higher if cases wind up at local magistrates court.
