Motorists on the M1 in Northamptonshire are experiencing long delays following a road traffic collision.

The hard shoulder and two lanes have been shut this afternoon on the the M1 southbound, between junctions J15 and J14.

Highways England has reported that the event is expected to clear between 5pm and 5.15pm.
