Double act Robert and Andrew Harris collected a handful of A grades in their A-level results this summer.
The brothers, who are students at Roade School, south Northamptonshire, each gained the grades in their chosen subjects with Ben achieving As in maths, chemistry and biology and Andrew in English, maths and psychology.

They returned home to a champagne breakfast with their mother Debra Harris following the news of their outstanding results.

Robert, who is two minutes older, said: "I am really pleased with the grades, in fact I was overjoyed. I got up early at 6.45am on the day of the results to check on the UCAS website that I had been accepted by Cambridge University to read natural sciences.

A relieved Andrew said: "I'm just glad it's all over and am delighted with the grades I've received. I will be studying English at the University of York."

Two years ago the twins, of Wootton, gained a total of 26 A* and A grades in their GCSE exams.

Mrs Harris said: "I am very pleased for them both. They deserved it because they worked very hard towards their exams."
