The biggest year group to sit A-levels at Northampton School for Girls to date turned out a passed rate of 98 per cent in 34 subjects.
The improved results for 138 A level students were enough to secure places at Oxford University for sixth-former Emily Sturgess, and at Warwick University for Claire Caple.
Meanwhile four other students received three A grades or more. Head Penny Westwood, said: "It is better than last year and we're really pleased."
Philippa Smith and Melissa Brakel also received recognition from exam board Edexcel for their marks in food technology, and drama and theatre studies respectively, which put them among the top 10 students in the country.
