Duston School built on its recent success with its best A-level results for years.
The school introduced a tracking system this year and were pleased it helped to improve the results. The average point score per student improved by 81 points, with boys having improved even more.

William Taylor achieved a place at Clare College, University of Cambridge, to read natural sciences with three A grades at A level.

Lenea Nyamapfeka came to England in November 2003 from Zimbabwe and achieved A grades in psychology, sociology and business.

Carly Manktelow scored A grades in English Literature, media studies and psychology.
