There were shouts of joy at Chenderit School, Middleton Cheney, as virtually all students gained a pass in their A-level subjects.
This year saw 96 students at the specialist visual arts college in south Northamptonshire, sitting exams with 45 per cent gaining A or B grades this summer.

Acting head Barry Doherty, said: "Headline achievements by our students have again risen and reflect the hard work and dedication of our students and teachers, during the recent expansion of our sixth form."

"High levels of achievement have once more been secured across our sixth form studies, including traditionally academic and vocational subjects."

"We very proud of Lauren Burden, Jess Grant, Zoe Nightingale, Roxanne Wardell, Samantha Powell and Jade O'Mahoney, all of whom achieved a distinction in their Level 3 health and social care course."
