Teachers at Bosworth Independent College were answering calls from all over the world and breaking news to delighted students.
For the fourth year running, the non-selective student body, which is made up of about 30 different nationalities, achieved a 100 per cent pass rate in their A-level results.

This summer 88 students sat a full range of A-level subjects with 76.3 per cent of examinations resulting in an A or B grade, with almost half the results being grade A.

Three students secured places at Cambridge University and 62 gained at least one grade A.

Among the college's local students enjoying success were Jenny Cleal and Sneh Jani who achieved all A grades.

Principal Mike McQuin said: "We are absolutely delighted with these results. They deserve their success".
