England spinner Monty Panesar has climbed into the top 10 in the latest ICC Test bowling rankings while James Anderson is a career-high 15th.
The Northamptonshire left-armer has jumped three places to stand level with India's Anil Kumble in 10th as a result of his performances in the series defeat to South Africa.

Anderson, meanwhile, leaps 11 spots after ending the series as joint wicket-taker, with 15, alongside Morne Morkel.

Ryan Sidebottom remains England's top bowler but drops a place to sixth.

Captain Kevin Pietersen stays eighth in the batting standings while opener Alastair Cook has risen four sports to joint 16th.
