Hide AdOwner Lucy Botterill has been looking ahead to whenever they can reopen with plans for custom-made masks, greater NHS discounts and lots of treats.
Oskar White, from the East Hunsbury salon, said: "We've had quite a lot of things going on during the lockdown so people know we are still going and we want to reopen positively."
The Hair Pavilion will be celebrating its 20th anniversary in September - Lucy and the team hope they will have been long open by then to mark the occasion with their customers.
Until then, they are keeping busy on their social media pages with regular competitions and answering people's questions.

Hide AdOskar said: "We've had quite a lot of people asking for a sneaky haircut saying they have all the PPE or we can do it in their garden.
"But we obviously can't, firstly because we are not insured to be a mobile salon and it would be against the social distancing guidelines.
"So we are encouraging them to wait it out and not buy at-home dyes as it will be more expensive if we have to re-do it."
Whenever hair salons are allowed to reopen, The Hair Pavilion will be making a number of changes to how it operates in anticipation of strict rules from the Government.

Hide AdLucy expects stylists will have to wear masks so they have ordered some custom-made black ones with their logo and a rainbow for the NHS on to be a little less intimidating.
But they will be celebrating with free glasses of Prosecco and treats for all clients, old and new, on arrival as a 'thank you', as well as random goodie bags for clients every month.
The normal 10 per cent discount for NHS workers will be doubled to 20 per cent for the first eight weeks and the salon will be starting a collection for the NHS, which will include their tips.
Oskar said: "It's a very strange time for us and everyone at the moment but hopefully we will be reopening soon and in the best shape possible."
