"I was made up and the judges' comments were absolutely great!"

A Northampton magician said he was 'made up' that his time-travelling card trick was enough to impress the audience and judges on Britain's Got Talent.

Sean Heydon auditioned for the ITV talent show in January and was featured on the Britain's Got Talent: Unseen programme on the ITV Hub on Saturday (April 25).

He received four yeses from Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams for his mind-boggling stunt.

"It was absolutely the most nerve-wracking experience of my life," he told the Chronicle & Echo.

"It was so scary before I went on stage to meet the judges, especially as I speak very quickly so I had to speak very slowly so everyone could hear what I was saying."

Sean's trick involved the presenters, Ant and Dec, all four judges and the audience, who were all amazed to see their phone clocks had gone back by nine minutes.

"When Alesha reacted to her phone going back and everyone in the audience's phones went back too, that was such a relief as it was such a big, scary thing to pull off," he said.

"Everyone thought it would be a card trick but the amount of work that went in to it was massive and there was a lot of risk too but luckily it all went to plan."

There was no debate as each judge did not hesitate to give Sean their seal of approval, seeing him through to the next round.

"I was made up and the judges' comments were absolutely great," he said.

"If I'm lucky enough to get through to the next round, I'm going to another trick with mobile phones but with a card trick even bigger than the last one."
